With so much to do, see, and learn at IMPACT 2014, how can you ensure you’re getting the most out of your experience? Here are insider tips from repeat attendees.
By arriving on Tuesday, you’ll avoid the rush to pick up your conference badge–and you’ll be there to attend our Pre-Conference Sessions and Welcome Reception. You should also stay through the final sessions on Friday. As many repeat attendees will attest, the content remains top-notch right through the end. At IMPACT 2013, closing speaker Michael Lewis was one of the highest rated speakers at the conference.
IMPACT 2014 will surround you with leaders from across the RIA industry and chance encounters often lead to new ideas, projects, perspectives, and opportunities. So get out there and talk to people. This is as essential to the experience as any other part of the program.
If you plan to blog, take photos, or tweet, use the tag #schwabimpact–and be sure to follow @Schwab4RIAs.
Business casual is the standard attire for the conference–and comfortable walking shoes are a must!
We’ve secured special rates at several hotels near the convention center, and you can use the My IMPACT link to reserve one of these rooms. They sell out quickly, so book yours ASAP. Even if you live within commuting distance, you should still stay at a local hotel. IMPACT starts early and ends late every day. Avoid the stress of traffic and allow yourself to participate in the conference fully.
The thought-provoking presenters, industry leaders, and educators we’ve assembled are guaranteed to challenge, inspire, and empower you. You’ll find ample opportunity to fulfill your continuing education requirements, along with a variety of choices for education sessions. Check the IMPACT Catalog often as new sessions are continually being added. Schedule Builder will be available in September and is a valuable tool for creating your schedule and reserving a seat for those sessions you shouldn’t miss.
Our staff will do their best to answer any questions and solve any problems, from simple logistics queries to more complex questions surrounding your business challenges. Pre-conference, contact us via email.
Don’t miss the final night event with Train and Matt Nathanson.
