The award includes a $15,000 donation to a charity of the winner's choice.

Pacesetter IMPACT Award™

Created to pay tribute to our industry's leaders of the future, this award is for an independent investment advisory firm in business 10 years or less who has shown initiative, growth, and promise. The firm should also demonstrate how they have integrated technology to extend reach, responsiveness, and growth of its business. The award includes a $15,000 donation to a charity of the winner's choice.

Trailblazer IMPACT Award™

The independent investment advisor industry owes its tremendous success to trailblazing leaders—firms that combine entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to advance the industry's interests. In the face of a challenging regulatory environment and an ever-changing competitive landscape, RIAs continue to forge new ground.

This award honors a firm that is helping the industry reach new heights—either through special initiatives, or simply as a result of the passion and commitment that they bring to their business every day. This could be demonstrated by a firm that has done one of the following:

  • Focused on understanding the unique needs of a specific client segment and developed an innovative approach to serving them (i.e., a new business model, marketing strategy or strategic plan)
  • Made a difference in their community though programs to educate new audiences about financial planning
  • Helped shape the industry’s future through advocacy efforts in Washington or involvement with industry associations
  • Made strides in attracting and cultivating the RIA industry’s next generation of talent
